David always wanted to be famous. He achieved this. David wanted to be at the top, the best. Unfortunately his life was cut short before he managed to achieve all of this. Right from an early age David tried various money making schemes. His first was trying to sell a dead rat for five pence. He also demanded value for money. When David went to the ice cream van with ten pence he wanted ten items. When he was about three years old he took some old clothes to the ragman and received a balloon in exchange. The balloon burst as it was being blown up so he took it back and demanded a new one. He was very proud of his Scottish background and loved to wear a kilt. he hated the racist comments often directed at him. When the gulf war broke out an elderly lady accosted him at the junction of Queen Margaret Dr and Great Western Road and said " you folk should go back where you came from" David's Glasgow humour came to the fore as he replied " Nae wonder auld folk like you get mugged"
